Patrice Lamure

In 2003, after completing his Bachelor of Music at the Guildhall in London under the tuition of David Pollard, Patrice joined the opera course at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow where he studied with Patricia MacMahon.

In August 2005, he was a member of the male ensemble during the production of Curlew River at the Edinburgh Festival, which was broadcast on BBC Radio 3.

In September 2005, Patrice joined the CNIPAL in Marseille. During his course, he took part in recitals at the operas of Marseille and Avignon. He also performed the part of John Styx from Orphée aux enfers in Marseille.

In 2006, Patrice joined Les Vergers d’Euterpe, a company of young singers based in Besançon.

In June 2007, Patrice was engaged by Eve Ruggieri to perform the part of Moralès Carmen at the festivals Musiques au Coeur d’Antibes and Lacoste/Pierre Cardin.

In January 2008, Patrice performed the part of Séraphin Véronique (by Messager) at the Châtelet in Paris, directed by Fanny Ardant and conducted by Jean-Christophe Spinosi with his Ensemble Matheus.

In June 2008, he was one of the Flemish Deputies during the production of Don Carlo at Bastille opera.

Patrice sings regularly in oratorio, notably in Ein Deutsches Requiem (Brahms), Carmina Burana (Orff), Bach cantatas, Messiah(Handel), Te Deum (Dvorak) and Requiem (Fauré).He also gives recitals where he performs operatic arias as well as melodies and lieder such as the ‘Italienisches Liederbuch’ by Wolf.
