Support Samling Academy Opera 2020

If opera is not there and not supported, people don’t have the opportunity to discover it, and if Samling Academy Opera hadn’t happened, I wouldn’t be where I am today, as a professional singer and hopefully being part of this world for the rest of my life.

Donate Now

Please help fund our next Samling Academy Opera production – a sparkling adaptation of Jane Austen’s Mansfield Park by one of Britain’s most celebrated opera composers, Jonathan Dove.

A generous donor has pledged to match the first £10,000 that we raise towards the cost of this production. Since the launch of our funding appeal in October, we are now one-third of the way towards this goal. However, to unlock the full amount of the match funding that we have been promised for this project, we need your help.

How will your donation help?

Samling Academy Opera productions give our Academy Singers the opportunity to experience everything that goes into a professional fully staged touring production, with movement, dance, lighting, props and costumes. Under the guidance of our experienced directors and production team, they’ll learn how to develop a full role and bring a character to life through music, giving them a truly memorable introduction to the life of a professional musician and enabling us to share their talent with new audiences.
