Since 1996 36 Samling Artists have been winners or finalists at the prestigious Kathleen Ferrier Awards and BBC Cardiff Singer of the World Competition.

Samling Artists now grace the world’s great opera houses and concert halls, including Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Metropolitan Opera New York, Wiener Staatsoper, Wigmore and Carnegie Halls.

‘It’s exceptional. It’s just one of those things that can really enhance your life as a young, emerging singer.’
Helen Sherman, Samling Artist

Samling – through performance and learning opportunities – nurtures young classical singers and piano accompanists. From students to emerging professionals, hundreds of young artists have benefited since the charity was founded in 1996.  They see their time with Samling as their springboard and inspiration.
