From Mansfield, Elizabeth gained her early experience with Cantamus Girls’ Choir receiving tuition from the choir’s director Pamela Cook MBE. During her time with Cantamus Elizabeth performed throughout the country, Europe and Asia, winning titles such as BBC Sainsbury’s Choir of the Year, Youth Section in, International Choral Festival, Tolosa, Spain, Riva del Garda Choral Festival, Llangollen International Eisteddfod, Choir of the World. At this time she was broadcast on Radio and Television including BBC’s Blue Peter.

Elizabeth graduated from the RSAMD, Glasgow under the tuition of Alan Watt followed by the Alexander Gibson Opera School with Kathleen McKellar Ferguson. She has taken part in master classes with Malcolm Martineau, Roderick Williams, Ann Murray, Ian Storey, Jane Eaglen, Paul Farrington, Isobel Buchanan and Sir Thomas Allen. While at music college Elizabeth was a finalist in the Kathleen Ferrier Young singers competition and performed roles at Haddo House, Aberdeen; Festival Theatre and Kings Theatre, Edinburgh and Theatre Royal, Glasgow. She was invited to take part in Samling Artist Programme. Her roles include Lucretia (The Rape of Lucretia), Charlotte (Werther), Madame de la Haltiere (Cendrillon), Mrs Noye (Noye’s Fludde), Jezibaba (Rusalka), Ms Quickly (Falstaff), Genevieve (Pelleas et Melisande) and with BYO Gertrude (Romeo et Juliette) at the Peacock Theatre, London.

Her professional career began at Glyndebourne Festival Opera Chorus in 2006 and later that year joined the Royal Opera Chorus. With the Royal Opera she has toured to Japan and Birmingham and worked closely with the Royal Opera’s music director Sir Antonio Pappano O.B.E. Also working with illustrious conductors such as Sir Mark Elder, Sir Simon Rattle and Iván Fischer and directors Richard Jones and Sir David McVicar.

Elizabeth is also involved with Music Education, tutoring with the Royal Opera Take Five summer school programme. She has sung at charity events in her local area of Greenwich and Solo recitals and oratorio around the U.K. Elizabeth has understudied roles in Rigoletto, The Tsar’s Bride and Elektra. Her roles include Woman (Peter Grimes), Newsreader (Anna Nicole), Cousin (Madama Butterfly), Suor Dolcina (Suor Angelica), Voice from above (Die frau ohne Schatten) and Seour Clare (Dialogues des Carmélites) all at the Royal Opera.
