Georgie Malcolm

Soprano, Samling Artist Programme: 2025

Georgie Malcolm has just graduated from the Opera course at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, having previously studied at Royal Northern College of Music. She is taught by Yvonne Kenny and Christine Cairns. Operatic roles include the title role in Alcina and Rosalinde Die Fledermaus at the Guildhall and Contessa Le nozze di Figaro at RNCM. As a 2025 Alvarez Emerging Artist at Garsington Opera she covered the role of Marzelline Fidelio. Concert highlights include Messiah at the Royal Albert Hall with the Really Big Chorus and Haydn’s Harmoniemesse with the BBC Philharmonic, broadcast on BBC Radio 3. She has been both a Leeds Lieder Young Artist and a member of the Wigmore Hall French Song Exchange and is currently an Opera Prelude Artist.

Since 1996, the Samling Artist Programme has provided intensive residential masterclass weeks for early-career singers and pianists, followed by professional development and support through our activities and established networks.
