Bella Marslen is part of the Royal College of Music’s International Opera Studio where she is taught by Janis Kelly and is the current Andrew Treagus scholar and Mimi and Colin Watts scholar. She is a current Tait Memorial Trust awardee and a 2026-2027 Drake Calleja Trust scholarship recipient. Performed roles include First Wood Sprite Rusalka (West Australian Opera); Barbarina Le nozze di Figaro; Angel Seven Angels by Jonathan Dove; Vixen The Cunning Little Vixen and Serpetta, La finta giardiniera (RCM Opera Studio). Bella was a 2024 Wigmore French Song Exchange artist, is a current Josephine Baker Trust artist and was awarded the Cuthbert Smith Prize in this year’s Lies Askonas Competition.
