Charles Cunliffe

Baritone, Samling Artist Programme: 2025

Charles Cunliffe has recently graduated from the Royal Academy of Music Opera School, where he studied with Giles Underwood and Joseph Middleton. Charles began singing as a chorister at Peterborough Cathedral where he later rejoined as a choral scholar. In 2023 he won the Leeds Lieder/Schubert Institute UK Song Prize, and in 2024 he joined the Glyndebourne Festival Chorus for both the Summer and Autumn Seasons. At the end of the Autumn Season he was awarded the Wessex Award by the Wessex Glyndebourne Association. He is looking forward to returning to Glyndebourne for the 2025 Summer Season as a Jerwood Young Artist.
