Originally from Portugal, Cláudia Ribas has been a member of the Frankfurt Opera Studio since 2022 where she has appeared in productions including Die Zauberflöte, Le vin herbé, Giulio Cesare, Die Banditen and Elektra and in the 2024/25 season in operas by Handel, Tchaikovsky, Magnard and Reimann. In 2025/26, roles include Federica Luisa Miller and principal roles in Carmen and Tancredi. She completed her Masters at the Royal Danish Academy of Music, where she sang in Ba-ta-clan, Ariodante, The Enchanted Pig and The Rape of Lucretia, having previously studied in Amsterdam. In 2024 she won the First Prize, the Wagner Prize, the Audience Prize and the Junior-Jury Prize at the ‘s-Hertogenbosch (IVC) International Vocal Competition.
