Malaysian-born British soprano, Eyra Norman, praised for her ‘sweet soprano tone and natural presence’ (The Guardian), is a Masters graduate of the Royal College of Music. She made her national debut in 2019 as Belinda Dido and Aeneas with English National Opera. Recent highlights include her role debut as Queen of the Night The Magic Flute (Croatian Opera Academy, 2025) and winning First Prize in the London Song Festival Schubert Song Prize (2024). She was a Drake Calleja Trust Scholar, a Shipston Rising Star and an Opera Prelude Young Artist (2025). Eyra has also performed at venues including the Royal Opera House (Cover), Wigmore Hall, the Royal Festival Hall and the Royal Albert Hall, alongside international engagements with Stanford University.
