Pianist Lucy Colquhoun studied at Royal College of Music with Roger Vignoles winning all accompaniment prizes (Joan Chissell Schumann Prize, Alisdair Graham Prize, Titanic Memoriam Prize) and numerous scholarships. She is a Royal Northern College of Music, Junior Guildhall and Somerset Song prizewinner, a Britten-Pears Artist, a Park-Lane-Group Artist (working with Joseph Horovitz) and an Oxford Lieder Platform finalist with Samling Artist Julien Van-Mellaerts.
Lucy’s recent highlights include performances at Purcell Room, Royal Opera House, Oxford Lieder Festival, St John’s Smith Square, Royal Philharmonic Society, Red House Aldeburgh, St-James’s-Piccadilly, St-Martin-in-the-Fields, Elgar Room, 22 Mansfield Street, King’s Lynn Festival, Brighton Festival, International Festival of Sacred Music Bogotá, British Music Society and Durham University accompanying Sir Thomas Allen and broadcasts on BBC Radio 3 and Colombian National Television. She played for three singers in the Ferrier Award finals (2019/2020) at Wigmore Hall including winner, Samling Artist Benson Wilson. She is an RCM staff member.
