British soprano Maryam Wocial is a member of the Royal College of Music’s International Opera Studio, where she is the Poppy Holden scholar supported by the Martin Harris scholarship. Her roles at the Royal College of Music include Sandrina La finta giardiniera, Fox The Cunning Little Vixen and Angel Seven Angels. A keen interpreter of song repertoire, Maryam was a Rising Star of Voice at the 2025 Edinburgh International Festival and received the Prix Thierry Mermod at the 2025 Verbier Festival’s Academy Atelier Lyrique. In 2026, she makes her solo recital debut at the Ryedale Festival as a Waverley Young Artist and joins the 2026/27 Oxford Song Young Artist Programme with duo partner Archie Bonham.
