Soprano Milly Forrest studied at the Royal Academy of Music and the Royal College of Music. Milly has sung the roles of Barbarina Le nozze di Figaro (Royal College of Music Opera School); Miranda The Enchanted Island (British Youth Opera); Susanna Le nozze di Figaro and Clorinda La Cenerentola (London Young Sinfonia); and Amore L’incoronazione di Poppea (Royal Academy Opera). This summer Milly worked for Garsington Opera Company on their Young Artist Programme. Recently Milly won the Hurn Court Opera Singing Competition and the Patricia Routledge National English Song Competition. In October Milly will perform the role of Iris in the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra’s production of Semele conducted by Yu Long and in 2020 she looks forward to covering the role of Barbarina in English National Opera’s production of Le nozze di Figaro. In 2021 Milly will be singing her own solo recital at Wigmore Hall.
