Patrick Dow

Baritone, Samling Artist Programme: 2025

Patrick Dow made his debut at the London Coliseum for English National Opera in 2024 as Fiorello The Barber of Seville and performed the role of Count Almaviva The Marriage of Figaro at Garsington Opera Festival. He won the Blyth-Buesst competition at Royal Academy of Music whilst completing his Master of Arts and went on to Opera School at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama followed by a summer season at Glyndebourne Festival. Awarded a music scholarship to the University of North Carolina, he won the state NATS competition two years running, performed lead roles in the university’s operas and was president of the a capella group, with highlights including singing for President Obama, President Grímsson of Iceland and opening for John Legend.

Since 1996, the Samling Artist Programme has provided intensive residential masterclass weeks for early-career singers and pianists, followed by professional development and support through our activities and established networks.
