Scott Brooksbank trained at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where he recently returned as project director. He teaches and directs for Rose Bruford, Central, Fourth Monkey and Drama Studio London, and is a workshop leader and storyteller for the education department at Shakespeare’s Globe. He is a leading member and Associate Director of experimental theatre company The Factory, with whom he has played in many projects, including Macbeth, The Odyssey, Hamlet, The Seagull, Round Two, Troilus & Cressida, Love’s Labour’s Lost and Measure for Measure. Other acting credits include Mythosphere (Stone Nest, Shaftesbury Ave); As You Like It and Sonnet Sunday (Shakespeare’s Globe); playing Stan Laurel in Laurel and Hardy (Frinton); The Magic Flute (Budapest Festival Orchestra); A Midsummer Night’s Dream (National Orchestra of Lyon); The Spire (Salisbury Playhouse) and seasons at Stafford Festival Shakespeare and Sevenoaks Playhouse. He won the 2002 BBC Carleton Hobbs Radio Award, and has appeared in numerous plays as part of the BBC Radio Drama Company.
