If you are aged 14–21 and you live or study in North East England, you can apply here for Samling Academy 2026/27. You may also apply if you currently live outside the North East and hold a UCAS offer for entry in October 2026 to a university in North East England (Durham, Newcastle, Northumbria, Sunderland or Teesside).

Live auditions will be held on Friday 13 February (The Glasshouse, Gateshead), Saturday 14 February (Durham) and Sunday 15 February (Newcastle). We will provide a pianist for auditions or you may bring your own.
Samling Academy 2026/27 will begin with six days of training, over the following days:
Friday 9 to Sunday 11 October 2026
Friday 23 to Sunday 25 October 2026 (ending with an afternoon concert at The Glasshouse)
