A graduate of the Hamburg University of Music and Theater and the Wales International Academy of Voice, Lithuanian baritone Romanas Kudriašovas is a National Opera Studio Young Artist.
He has performed Sacristan Tosca at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall and most recently at the Wales Millennium Centre, both times alongside Bryn Terfel’s Scarpia, and his other roles include Lockit The Beggar’s Opera (Britten), Anténor Dardanu (Rameau), Elviro Serse (Handel), Valens Theodora (Handel) and Bill Aufstieg und Fall der Stadt Mahagonny (Weill/Brecht).
A prize-winner in several competitions, Romanas is also a keen recitalist and oratorio singer, having performed over 20 recitals in North Germany as well as a dozen in his home country. He has taken part in masterclasses with Leo Nucci, Barbara Frittoli, Richard Bonynge, Laurent Pillot and John Norris. Romanas is very thankful to Unum Ltd for their support.
